So we all want healthy and smooth skin, right? If we talk about healthy skin, we have to face many hurdles during this journey like acne, and dryness or dullness that gets worse in the summer season. Well everyone wants to cross these hurdles with some shortcuts that involve cosmetics or marketing products. If I buy a glowing face mask or cream that can clear my skin then I expect that it will overnight clean up my skin or work like a magic Stick so that I can remove all hurdles related to my beauty. After this talk, you get to this point. I think we can’t cross these hurdles without dedication and good habits. So let’s talk about this summer, in the summer season do you feel cold? Lol well can’t deny that summer is too hard to handle especially when you are going out, during travel, going to school/colleges, or wherever I go I can’t tolerate this summer, especially without water. The Sun heats up then it takes my energy, and my skin also suffers from acne, itching, rashes, dullness, and tanning. Well, it’s hard to go out without water in summer seasons especially when summers are too hot. So keep in mind that if the temperature is too high during summer then water is not enough to keep your skin hydrated. You must use some other things to make your skin healthy and glowing. Hence it’s important to add water-based food to your diet like watermelon, oranges, and cucumber. Keeping your body hydrated is important so that your skin can naturally glow or you can also drink detox water to prevent yourself from dehydration. Moisturising Skin- Necessary steps for an everyday routine affect the whole journey of your getting glowing and smooth skin, whether you are facing summer or winter. When you apply moisturiser on your skin it heals your ageing wrinkles and keeps your skin hydrated. For a moisturiser use a lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturiser to keep your skin hydrated without clogging pores. Vital Role of Sunscreen: UV rays of the sun are harmful to us no matter which season is going on but in summer it burns and we feel it, right? That’s why in summer I always try to avoid the 10 am to 4 pm sun heat but how can we live without going out whether it’s summer or winter? Well no matter what you have to go out then you really need to protect yourself from sun heat with a scarf, a wide hat, full-sleeve clothes, and sunscreen. The hazard UV rays bring is amplified in the summer with increased odds of sunburn, earlier skin ageing, or skin cancer development. Choose a broad SPF 30 of sunscreen or higher. Well, it also depends on skin type which SPF is suitable for your skin. So use sunscreen accordingly, and gently apply it 15-30 min before going out on your exposed area and keep it with yourself to apply after every two hours. Use sweat-free and water-resistant Sunscreen, so that with sweat your sunscreen can’t be wiped out. Well, it’s hectic for me to reapply sunscreen every two hours but I have to do it because no sunscreen provides a long-lasting formula. Dr. Sheth did this miracle for me haha, but it’s really good for me to use CERAMIDE & VITAMIN C LASTING SUNSCREEN because I don’t use it again and again it provides up to 6 hours with SPF 50+ & PA++++. Cleanse Properly but Gently – As pollution increases day by day it affects the skin and clogs the pores with makeup, environmental effects, pollutants, dead skin cells, and sensitivity. Then it’s a very important step to gently cleanse your skin with a mild cleanser. A harsh cleanser can cause roughness or dryness or can remove the original glow of your face so you must be choosing the right cleanser according to your skin. Implement a mild cleanser twice a day to not only get rid of dust and sweat but oil also without rubbing your skin off its natural oils. Detox your skin – What is detoxing your skin? Pollution and the environment cause damage to your skin which is the reason for breakouts, acne, and dullness or tanning. Detoxing your body will work to reduce your acne, dullness and increase your natural glow, and strengthen your complexion. Detoxing your skin is a part of where you take a step ahead to get a glow on your face and give it natural beauty. The first step to detox your skin is to take steam from hot water. It will pull out your dirt, do it after cleansing your face and before applying skin care products. Another step to detoxify your skin is to take a morning detox that will help you clean your body from the inside. Use a gentle exfoliating tool according to your skin so that it will help your skin look bright. An exfoliator can be used according to your skin type and once or twice in a week. Exfoliating too often can only worsen skin irritation and make them more sensitive to direct sun rays that is why moderation is a must. Instead of physical exfoliants like scrubs, one can try chemical ones like alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) and beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) which are easier and are more the first.
